Hello!!

Good afternoon!

 My name is Gem, I'm just a girl who loves to travel, eat and explore. I also seem to have a lot of opinions on those topics so I might as well start to write about it! There are so many places in this world and I want to see so many of them if only I had the money haha! 

I am also a firm believer in exploring your own country as well, it's expensive and hard to travel to different countries and time and time again I've been surprised about how you really can make an adventure out of anything you just have to have the right attitude.

 I see so many travel bloggers being able to drop everything and are able to travel the world. As much as we all wish we could do that, it's not realistic. This is why I wanted to start this blog. I am currently based in Dublin, Ireland. I want to show everyone the fun you can have and the places you can explore without breaking the bank.

 I also want to focus on how you can have a great holiday when people do get a chance to go away to do it cost-effectively, but mostly just I have a want to share my experience, not just the good, but the bad, the ugly. The stresses of travelling, how things can be disappointing. This is not going to be a blog where I share how amazing everything is and how travelling is super stress-free and everything goes to plan. We all have holidays where things just go wrong, and honestly, sometimes that's what makes holidays special. If I had a perfect holiday every time I went away I feel sometimes the fun would be sucked out of it. I'm excited to start this project and I hope I inspire a few people to follow me in this journey.
